I know I l-ve children - but I've never (seriously) dated anyone with a child. I wonder how the relationship between the parents will affect the new relationship. This could be tough. Leave thoughts...
Blended families do work....
ReplyDeleteMy father and stepmother were successful in their dating/marriage, because they had kids of their own both understood what they were getting themselves into when they went on their first lunch date.
For me, I might consider dating a guy with a kid or two, but he'd REALLY have to have it together! And he'd have to have a handle on the drama with his baby's mama!!!
I would PREFER to date someone who is completely SINGLE (meaning just him); I don't wanna date the kid too
lol. so true. Blended families can work...but we all know there are the pitfalls.

Right now - I'm not trying to seriously date someone with children. Focus on your child right now. I'm at the age where I need a lot of attention - and I'm not selfish in any sense, but I want your undivided attention.
Same question in 5 years - might have a different answer...who knows
